Listen up, RSD! We want you to know the positive things people are saying about you.
Eric Savage, owner of Freedom Auto Group, met some of our students during the Young Men’s Symposium, hosted by the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Here’s what he said:
“I was so impressed with the young men who attended the Young Men's Leadership Conference held by the Chamber on Friday. The Reading School District l Reading, Pa. was brilliantly represented. I spent a meaningful amount of time with a few students and even offered one of them a job as soon as he graduates from technical school... seriously! I was so happy with the attitude and energy demonstrated by the students, and they were so ARTICULATE... an art that is often lost on the young. Be proud. The work RSD is doing is creating something extraordinary! There's GREAT news to be shared. I think Berks and Reading need to be aware of the amazing things that are happening at our city's schools. We need to BELIEVE it can get better... and after spending time with students on Friday, well... I'm a holy-rolling RSD believer!"
A big thank you to Eric for sharing that note and for believing in our kids! It means more than you'll ever know.
